New Niece!

Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to introduce my new niece, Hailey Burr! She arrived in all her glory Friday, November 2, 2007...a month early...she's just getting a jumpstart on life.Even though she came earlier than planned, she still weighed in at 5 lbs. 14 oz. (Not too shabby, huh?) and was 18 3/4 in. long. What a beautiful addition to their cute family! Here's the real kicker though...NO EPIDURAL. That's right, Cynthia did it all on her own. You go girl! And speaking of girls (something we can't seem to get at this house) here's a pciture of the girls club at my sister's house. (We've seriously discussed swapping babies next time since we both seem to be stuck on one gender.)Check out the proud grandparents...this makes #5 for them. Welcome, Hailey, we're so glad you're here!

Hailey's even cuter now that she's had her first bath! She has dark brown hair like Cynthia. Brooklyn seems to be enjoying all the extra attention, but isn't particularly interested in her new little sister. Maybe that's a good thing!

Oh! Congrats!!!!!!!! You will have to let her know that I was thoroughly impressed with the no epidural. And wow! That big being a month early. My girls were both 5 lbs 5 oz and they weren't any early. That's great that they are doing good! Tell her congrats for me! (and I know what you mean about swapping :))

This is crazy- Cynthia is like 13 years old in my mind, coming to stay in the dorms with you! :) Congratulations! And no drugs- WOW!! My #3 was practically all natural (not by choice- he was just in a hurry to get here) and it was horrible! Go Cynthia- what a woman!!

Tell Cynthia congrats from me. How nice for her that she came a month early. Sounds like everything went really well. Beautiful little girls!
