Apology Letter

Dear Jacob and Joshua,

I just want to apologize now for the butchering, I mean the CUTTING, I did of your hair. We had fun though, didn't we? The instructions made it look so easy.

You have no idea now that it looks bad because you are little boys that don't even care that you have hair. I'm very glad for that.

BUT one day you will find these pictures, so I only have one thing to say...SORRY.

Let's look on the positive side. At least your handsome faces will outshine any old haircut. I know I can do better next time and by the time you're in high school, I'll be a pro!

Your adoring stylist,
Mom

I think they look fine! If you want, you can run #7 or #8 across the top and it will blend in the sides better?? It will make it shorter though.

I cut all of my boys hair (including my husband) every month. I've become an old pro!

That is so not bad! I think you did great especially for your first time. When Reese was 5 months old I decided to trim her mullet. Bad idea! I cried and refused to take pictures because I didn't want to remember. Now of course I wish I had pictures. You're a cute mom.

Heck I paid alot of money to be able to do that. I should have just gotten myself some instructions. Looks good!

I think they look great! I wish Ryan were as carefree as your boys when you give them haircuts. I've been cutting his for six years and I still never get it right. . . .

Those look great. At least you did a long cut. My boys get a 1/4 inch cut in the summer and it is usually pretty choppy. I just make sure that my boys don't sit in front of anybody in church who is a hair-stylist.

I don't know much about cutting hair but I think that it looks just fine. You should ask sometime about my attempt to cut Don's hair! My girlfriend cuts her boy's hair and I've been there to help. Let me tell you... this is NO easy task you got here. Good luck! Keep up with it. It will get easier! :)

I don't think they look bad either. Once I cut Seamus' hair and the back was uneven and about an inch higher than the natural hairline. I didn't take pictures because I was too ashamed. We take him to a walk in place now... I think Josh and Jake look good...better than I could do anyway.

I think it is great. Everytime I tell John to do what you did, I come back to check on them & they've ended up with a buzz cut! At least you can follow directions :)
