I Spy Spring

I'm ready for spring. I think I might have mentioned that before. Finally Mother Nature is giving us little signs to let us know we won't have to wait much longer.
The boys helped me plant bulbs last fall and they are starting to peek out at us! We planted tulips and daffodils, and I am simply thrilled that something I planted is still alive. (Maybe I shouldn't speak too soon...)We've also seen a few robins with their "red tummies" so we know spring is in the air. The popcorn has yet to pop on the trees though...What is your favorite thing of spring?

I love the flowers, the warm days & cool nights, Easter, and the sudden happiness it brings to know that the gloomy winter is over!

I always dread the awful hot summer days, but spring is a nice time to ease into those soon to be hot days were the kids can't play outside unless its at the lake or pool. However, I do really enjoy spring and I love the weather the cool nights the playing outside and not frying. I love that flip flops that will be on my feet soon with painted toes!

Yeah! The bulbs are coming up! Which ones are they? Do you have to hand water them?
My favorite part of Spring? That's easy---the Easter candy, of course!!!

I love spring!! I'm so jealous! It snowed here yesterday. It will be another month before there are sprouts on anything. Enjoy it for me!

JoAnna-
Me too!!! Give me some warmth!

Jennie-
I can't wait for flip flops. I've missed them so much!

Mom-
The ones I took pictures of are the tulips. They'll be red...I think. This was the first time I'd ever watered them (yes, by hand) because they have this amazing thing here called snow and rain that waters the plants for you! Mmmm...Easter candy. You know it's a weakness for me!

Emily-
I think it's my favorite too.

Kathryn-
It looks like we're having a storm roll in this weekend. I hope my babies survive! Blasted snow.

My favorite part of Spring is the flowers. Your tulips look great. I can hardly wait to see what color they are. You and the boys did a great job of planting. Which ones did Nathan plant? Love, Grandma

I love that first afternoon when you have to take your sweatshirt/ jacket off because the sun is too warm and you can actually FEEL it on your skin and you just want to stretch out and soak it all up! I really want spring to come too!

Oh I love spring! But it is such a tease! That is my one complaint about spring in non-desert locations. My hopes get up, the sky gets blue, I bring out the flip flops and then it snows. AARG! But other than that, yes, it's a miracle every single year.
