Clean Teeth!

My mouth is feeling good today. After an eight-year span of not seeing a dentist (that's right, I haven't been to the dentist since I've been married!) my appointment today went surprisingly well. NO cavities. My teeth and gums are a bit sore from all the scraping and cleaning that had to go on from eight years of build up, but I'm so pleasantly surprised I didn't need additional work. Don't worry, I have an appointment already scheduled in six months...I will not be going another eight years!

Oh, I'm glad that it went well. Same deal with me, I haven't been since after Jackson was born. And we even have dental insurance here, I just have not gotten around to setting up appointments. I'm going to do it though....it is time!

See you on Saturday! Do you have something fun planned?

So I have major guilt my teeth need a major cleaning! you can tell when they do. So while pregnant ther really stress getting your teeth cleaned since the baby sucks all your nutrients yada yada from you. You survived pregnancies and not going for that long and still had no problems??? WOW you must be a healthy eater! I have guilt. I went over a year ago and had 3 cavaties and had to have a root canal! EWWWWWW not fun. P.S. love the party pics, you are so creative!!! it looked like alot of fun.

My first thought was YUCK How GROSS.....then I realized that I haven't been to the dentist in just over 2 years... after one year what is a couple more. I guess I don't realy have anything to talk about. I know I won't be going to the dentist any time soon either. Good job not having any cavities though!!! I always have cavities, even though I brush and floss.

I so don't get you people! I'm super nazi about getting my teeth cleaned every 6 months and I still get cavities! Then Mr. Thomas Bjorkman hadn't been for almost 5 years when I married him and he of course has still never had a cavity! You lucky people!!! I hope your kids get your good strong teeth genes. Which reminds me, did you know your kids are supposed to start going to the dentist around 2? I know a lot of people don't know that, but like I said, I'm a teeth nazi! :)

Lucky you. I think being pregnant and/or nursing for 5 straight years did a number on my teeth. I used to like going to the dentist, but now I hate it because they seem to find cavities every time. And those mouth needles are so big.

How come it took you your entire life to have decent teeth? We could have paid cash for a new car, but no, we put major money into your teeth. 8 years? That's horrible!

I have to confess - It has been five years since I've seen a dentist. The shocking thing is that Jacob is a dental student! He just can't squeeze me in unless I've got something really good for him to do, like a root canal. Maybe if I wait long enough I'll need one!
