Good Blog Reading

Since I've been using Google Reader (ah, blessed blessed Google Reader!) I haven't updated the links of the blogs I read. There are a couple of blogs I've been LOVING lately that I thought I'd share. Since we all know I'm a blog stalker, that's already been established here, these are not people I know, I just like their blogs.

  • Being Frugal is Fabulous: I'm a sucker for a deal and Nicole has got it DOWN. She makes it all too easy by letting us all in on how to use coupons to get the best prices...sometimes even free! (I just registered with RiteAid and got $50.00 in coupons!) Do be sure to check her blog out and start saving some money!
  • A Daily Scoop: Warning - Prepare yourself with some tissues before you go to this blog. You will cry. This family has lost their young daughter and I am truly inspired by this mother's courage and faith. In reading about her trials, I am strengthened to get through the pettiness of mine. When I read her blog I want to hug and kiss my children and never let go, and who doesn't need a reminder like that every now and then? (All of her posts are great and these are two of my favorites: Inside the Heart and Perspective.)

Got any other good reads for me to add to my Google Reader? Fill me in!

"Being Frugal's" blog is great! I'm off to redeem my Monday code for a free rental at Redbox, actually 2 free rentals-one for each credit card:)

I just read them. I don't have the guts to comment. But I know that other people do comment. They say things like--- I found your blog through so and so and..... Ya know? But I am just a chicken :) But I guess it wouldn't really hurt anything TO comment... you might just gain a new friend :) YAY!

Thanks for the Daily Scoop blog! it will have to be a regular visit for me. Tough stuff, and a tissue box is sure to be in store. You do certainly understand why we really need to count our blessing and appreciate all that we have especially our family and children.

I went to the doctor and got a prescription for a patch that goes behind my ear. (This is a cruise tip.) I used it before, and it worked great--no drowsiness and no seasickness!
I love to read your blog, and see the pictures. You do great work!
Love, Grandma

Dear Jacob--I have tried leaving comments on your blog, but it wont's let me. I thought your video of you and Josh doing flips was great! You guys are pretty tricky!!! Love, Grandma T.

My new blog obsession is recipe blogs. I don't know why, I don't really like to cook that much. I guess because I love to bake treats. Try http://www.mykitchencafe.blogspot.com/
from there you can link to some more good ones like http://gourmetmomonthego.blogspot.com/
etc. etc. The pictures suck me in!

I just don't get the time/money value concept of coupons; however, this last coupon transaction is hooking me in. Nice job on the free expensive shampoo. (Not that my wirery hair needs it, but nice!)
