"Baby K" Is on the Way!

Just in case you can't decipher the picture above...We are excited to be welcoming another little one to our family this year! I am due September 20th. Some of you (Katie and Danielle!) are good guessers. I suppose it takes a preggy to know a preggy.

The blog, along with everything else in my life, has had to move to the back burner while I'm so sick. It's hard to blog (or do anything else) with your head in the toilet. I am taking the beloved Zofran, so I'm not throwing up as much, but I still feel blah. Now that I'm 12 weeks along I'm hoping and praying that I'm close to being well again.

You wouldn't have wanted me blogging through all of this anyhow. I'm a big whiny wimp. I'm not going to lie...I don't like being pregnant.

There I said it. I almost feel guilty that I don't enjoy pregnancy. I don't feel radiant or glowing or energized from the life within. It is pure HECK for me. BUT it is torture I am willing to go through.

After Willie's accident we weren't sure we could have children. I have felt the pain of longing for a child. I remember thinking I would throw up every day of my life just to have a baby of my own. (Easier said than done.)

So while I extremely dislike being pregnant and sick, I am trying with all my might to focus on the great blessing I have been given to be able to have children instead of wallowing in self-pity and despair. TRYING is the key word.

I am very lucky to have great friends that take good care of me and help me out so much. It's hard being away from my family when I just want someone to take care of me...but luckily I have a wonderful family too. My grandma has come to visit and my parents are scheduled to drop by too.

I'm gonna make it. And the best part is, at the end of all this I'll have a sweet little baby face to kiss on.

Congratulations! I am like you--I never liked being pregnant and having my head in the toilet. There are still some foods I can't even think about eating after all these years. I hope you get to feeling better soon!

CONGRATS!! How exciting! I'm sorry you're so sick. . . and there's nothing wrong with not liking pregnancy. I'd say you're a brave soul to do it when it's so crappy. Hopefully it will slow down soon. . . good luck! I wish I lived closer to help you out.

That's awesome! Congrats! I'm so excited for you. I remember all too well not feeling like blogging at all at the beginning of pregnancy. It just kind of knocks the wind out of you. And I also know what you mean about almost feeling guilty about not always enjoying pregnancy when there are some that can't get pregnant at all. But let's face it, pregnancy can just be rough and it's okay not to like it. I'm still excited for you and wishing the sickness to be gone!

Congratulations! I am so happy for you guys. I can completely relate to you feeling sick all the time. That's how I felt with Layla for the first 5 months. Hopefully it will not last that long for you!

Thanx for stopping by my blog, I was beginning to wonder what happened to you? However, I see the "picture" loud and clear... CONGRATS CONGRATS, maybe a girl this time! I remember when I heard about Willie's accident, I was so heart broken for you guys, BUT the Lord works his magic and now number 4! Hope the sickness goes away soon. I too, hate being pregnant.

Natalie...congratulations! You have an amazing woman! It is so exciting that you and Cynthia are pregnant together!! Wouldn't that be fun for you to get the girl and her to get the boy this time around! I am sorry you are so sick! I was blessed not to have to suffer with that, but the 10 weeks of bed rest at the end was my trial! Hope to see you soon!

Yeah! I am so excited. I am sorry that it is so rough and I hope that you start feeling good soon. I'm glad that your family will be by. I think that it's so hard to be sick when you're the mom, because there is no time for it. So many things that have to be done. Good luck, I hope that you are almost out of the woods. Hopefully we will see you again soon!

Ha.Ha. Congrats, Nat! I feel the exact same way about being pregnant. I hate it even during the "easy" trimester. I hope the next couple of weeks fly by and you start feeling better. At least it's almost spring. I think morning sickness combined with a cold winter is torture.

Oh Natalie. Congrats on the big news. I'm with you on the whole pregnant thing. I dislike it as well. Especially when there are two. It magnified everything. Best of luck and I hope you start to feel better soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed and maybe you'll get a girl this time.

I absolutely hate the post-partum. I have suffered with post-partum depression with all of my children and that's what keeps me from having any more children. If I was guaranteed NEVER to have post-partum depression again, I would love to have another baby. But doctors have tried to help but no success. Oh well, I'm good with my three. Congrats and take good care of yourself. I know Willie will help all he can too. Love you guys!

Yes, Congrats and nice post!! I remember visiting Willie in the hospital after his accident. I KNOW you guys are blessed. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I am so excited for you guys! Mom told me about you being pregnant and I can't wait! I love it that our family keeps growing! We are so blessed with all these beautiful Kahumoku babies!!! Yay!!! You'll have to let me know what you're having!!! Hopefully your baby isn't as stubborn as Hannah! Hannah kept her private area definitely private-she was not like the boys-letting it all hang out! I'm praying that it'll be a girl, but then again, I'll feel bad for her with her daddy and 3 older brothers-talk about Kahumoku Security Guards!!! You will have nothing to worry about!!! Keep us updated...Hope you feel better now though! Love ya!
