The Graduates

Isn't it funny how life just keeps going even if your blog doesn't?
One of the things we've been up to is graduations...

Joshua "graduated" from preschool! He sure made some good buddies and had lots of fun in our preschool co-op this year. Since Josh is still four, he'll be starting Kindergarten next year. Luckily, he doesn't seem to mind that all his pals are starting school without him. It makes sense to him that you have to be five to go to school...and he's not five yet. He and I are going to have a grand time together this year.Jacob "graduated" from Kindergarten. (Aren't those caps adorable?)As they came up to the stage one by one to get their certificates, the teacher asked them what they want to be when they grow up. My boy's answer was "A hero." It brought a tear to my eye, even though I know he literally wants to wear a cape and run around rescuing people. To me, he already is a hero.

Natalie! I love your blog quotes on the side column! Your boys are hilarious and you're good to get them in writing while you remember! I threatened Todd I'd start doing it with his funny sayings but I don't think it's as cute coming from a man... And congrats, I haven't been on your blog in a while and didn't know you were due next month! How fun! I see your family occasionally at weddings etc, I would love to see you when you're here next. Congrats on graduations!

Yeah you are still alive. Such cute little graduates you have! Someone was telling me that this Feb. I need to register Averie for Kindergarten.... and my heart almost stopped. Is she seriously old enough for that. I'm sure your feeling that too. What happened to our babies. So crazy!
Best of luck during the last month of your pregnancy. Hope all goes well. Look forward to his arrival as I'm sure you do.

WOW! when is your Kindergarten cut off? You're in Reno right? I would think it would be the same as here. Noah is only 8 days older than Joshua and he is starting Kindergarten this year the cut off is Sept 30th. Huh....nonetheless Jacob looks stunning and the "hero" line even brought a tear to my eyes. So cute!
