Missing You Dad!

We've missed you, Dad! Here's what we've been up to today.

Jake came home with a FABULOUS report card and two ribbons, one for perfect attendance and one for being on the "Principal's List." (It's a good thing, I promise!)

Peter decided after two weeks of rice cereal he was ready to venture out...to green beans! This was his reaction with every bite I gave him.

I guess we have another Kahumoku vegetable lover on our hands!

So although you may find yourself bored and lonely in an airport waiting to come home, enjoy it...because as you know, there's never a dull moment here! We love you!!

SNOW Much FUN!

We woke up this morning to heaps of snow. I know my brother serving a mission in Minnesota right now and our relatives in Alaska would probably roll their eyes...but it's a lot of snow to us. Church was even cancelled! (That's a first for me.)Nathan watched...as Willie shoveled the driveway and sidewalk.Oh what do you do in the wintertime when church is a no-go?

1. WEAR YOUR P.J.'S ALL DAY and draw, draw, draw. Draw until your fingers hurt and the paper supply is running low. 2. Snuggle with your baby on the couch pull-out bed. Then get your older brothers to join in on the fun, too!Show a little brotherly love with a few kisses.(Ah, lovin' on that Sweety Petey.)Kiss your baby brother...or pretend that you're too cool for that. (Even though Mom already has proof otherwise. Ahem, see above.)
2. Build a Star Wars ship and fly away with your brothers.(Pete's joining the big boys with his Bumbo.)(I love these little faces and imaginations.)(Away they go!)(May the force be with you!) 3. Pause for a snack of toast and hot chocolate.Yum!4. Get bundled up and head outdoors!(I took these pictures from inside the warm house.)(They were so happy to get out there in the cold stuff.)4. Build a huge snowman out front with your dad. Roll 'em, roll 'em, roll 'em! (Josh and Dad rolling the base of the snowman.)Steadily pack that snowman that is taller than you.You know your snowman is big when Dad has to lift you up to put the eyes in!AND put the hat on.The biggest (and cutest) snowman in Kahumoku creation. And that's what we do in the wintertime when all the world is white. It's been a fun day. Jake's got his fingers crossed that school will be cancelled tomorrow...
